Sedation options are available if you are anxious or the tooth is difficult, and we will talk through them beforehand. Soreness for a few days afterward is normal, and we send you home with clear aftercare instructions.

Most people feel noticeably better within a few days, with the socket continuing to heal underneath for a few weeks. Plan on taking it easy the first 24 hours, sticking to soft foods, and avoiding straws and smoking so the clot stays put.
