Cosmetic dentistry covers the treatments that change how your smile looks rather than only how it functions. At our practice that includes porcelain veneers and Lumineers, professional whitening, bonding for chips and gaps, Invisalign, and implant-supported restorations. Most smile makeovers combine two or three of these. We start with an exam and a conversation about what bothers you, then build the plan around it.

The price depends entirely on which treatments your plan includes and how many teeth are involved. Whitening and bonding sit at one end, full veneer cases and implants at the other. Most cosmetic plans run from a single visit to a few months, depending on what you choose. Whitening can be done in about an hour, veneers usually take around three visits, and Invisalign or implants run longer because teeth and tissue need time to move or heal. At your consultation we map out the visits so you know the timeline before you commit.

Age is rarely the deciding factor. What matters is the health of your teeth, gums, and bone, which is exactly what the consultation exam looks at. Wear, injury, and decay build up over a lifetime, and many of our patients come in after years of hiding their smile. If something needs treating first, we handle that before any cosmetic step.

Dr. Poneh Ghasri, DDS leads cosmetic cases at our West Hollywood office.
