West Hollywood is a compact city, and Suite 16 sits on the Sunset Plaza stretch of it, between Doheny Dr and La Cienega Blvd. If you live in the Norma Triangle, up in the hills off Sunset Plaza Dr, or over toward the Design District on Melrose, you are close enough that a cleaning does not have to take your whole afternoon. Dr. Poneh Ghasri, DDS, built West Hollywood Dental Group around that idea: one address for checkups, cosmetic work, braces and the specialist treatment in between, so nobody is sent across the city for a root canal or an implant.

Because we sit a few doors from restaurants, salons and offices, much of what we see is ordinary and unglamorous. A cleaning and exam booked between meetings. A crown that has worked loose on a bagel. A night guard for someone grinding through a stressful stretch of work. Cosmetic requests come in steadily too, usually whitening before an event or a veneer for a front tooth that has bothered someone for years, and we would rather talk through what is realistic before anyone commits to anything.

Doors are open 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays, and weekends work by appointment rather than fixed hours. That flexibility matters in a neighborhood where plenty of people work evenings, weekends or on set, so if the only window you have is an early Saturday, say so when you call and we will see what can be done. Treatment is available in English and Farsi. Most major PPO plans are accepted and we file the claims for you, and CareCredit financing is on hand when a plan is bigger than you want to settle in one go.

The practice was known for years as Sunset Plaza Dental, so if you were a patient under that name, your records are still here and the address has not moved. What has grown is the range of care under one roof: periodontics, endodontics, implants, Invisalign and children’s dentistry alongside everyday general care. That is usually why local families stay put instead of keeping three different offices in their phone. It also means your history, your X-rays and your treatment notes sit in one chart rather than being posted between buildings every time something changes.
